This SCATS development role forms part of the Australian Yunex Traffic team and is assisting to drive/support the customer relation, growth strategies and delivery of projects (particularly SCATS supporting ATC globally)
The person is required to maintain close partnership with all stakeholders ensuring a successful business performance and expansion.
Internal stakeholders include, but not limited to, Yunex Traffic Management team and departments, Yunex Traffic-across APAC, Aldridge Traffic Controller Pty Ltd (ATC) and their sub-distributors/clients.
Externally, the priority is to develop a stakeholder network across New Zealand, including governments, dealers, subcontractors, associations, partners, general contractors, etc.
Proactive support of the business in its strategic and operational needs is critical.
Main goal is to support business opportunities in New Zealand and actively participate in the tendering process to ensure successful bids, a high hit rate and profitable growth. As part of business growth there will be an expectation to deliver select projects prior to being integrated into the broad ANZ business.
What are the responsibilities?
- Provide SCATS (Operations) market for ATC in ANZ and globally and provide specific services to all our Stakeholders;
- Evaluate and assist with converting new business opportunities in close collaboration with industry and company stakeholders to achieve the ambition level for market growth and profitability;
- Provide market knowledge and up-to-date overview of customers, competitors, competing products and services;
- Active contribute to (or lead) tenders / proposals and drive the internal approval process for tender submissions, as required
- Promote the entire Yunex Traffic product, solution and service portfolio in the New Zealand market
- Support sales and marketing activities in New Zealand, as required
- Maintain a database of current and potential clients and their projects, i.e. actively managing and using company’s CRM tools
- Keep up to date with Yunex Traffic's portfolio of products and services, in order to be and remain able to explain and demonstrate to clients the key features of our products and services
- Support a growth strategy and implementation plan for the New Zealand;
- Adhere to Yunex sales guidelines in terms of pricing, contract and payment terms, compliance, and business conduct guideline
Requirements
- Familiar with the ITS Industry fields relevant to the New Zealand market and aligns to Yunex’s business structure of Urban, Highways, Tunnels, Tolling and Maintenance for min. 3 years
- Active in a similar growth-related role for at least 2 years
- Education / University degree in a related commercial and/or technical field.
