Yutraffic Symphony is a state-of-the-art traffic management platform that can operate in all global traffic domain technology stacks.
An exciting opportunity is available for an aspiring and motivated professional to apply their strong technical experience and join us as a Senior Product Owner for our ATMS Solution. You will be responsible shape our state-of-the-art traffic management platform which can operate in all global traffic domain technology stacks and support our global development team with your experience and technical knowledge. This role is based in our Sydney office.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- As Senior Product Owner you will drive the development of our future-oriented traffic management platform.
- The focus of this role will be to support the further adaptation and integration of our Symphony platform to local standards in the APAC region.
- Part of your role will be the technical ownership of the system- and configuration- aspects. You will also collaborate with neighboring teams and product owners aligning on cross cutting features and project.
- You must demonstrate experience with the development of various visualization tools that are designed to help engineers to analyze traffic data (Visu STP, Visu Intersection, Green Wave), Quality management tool that gives users valuable feedback about the quality of its connected intersections and objects.
- You will be responsible for "end-to-end" projects, from the requirements analysis with the customer, through development to operative implementation and support of operations.
- You will "translate" customer requirements into an actionable backlog and communicate them to our international scrum teams.
- You will lead and plan product release plans and set expectations for the delivery of new features.
- You will actively manage relationships with relevant internal and external functions and stakeholders such as sales, product management, key customers or other development teams.
- You will maintain regular close contact with customers and project partners and act as the main contact partner for clarifying product requirements on the functional level. Your tasks may also include international travel.
Qualifications & Experience
- You have successfully completed a university degree in engineering.
- You already have more than 10 years of professional experience in traffic domain and additionally at least 5 years of practical experience in traffic engineering.
- You have a good understanding of global traffic technology stacks from central Europe (OCIT), US (NTCIP), UK (UMTC) and APAC (SCATS) as well as traffic domain tools like Yutraffic Office, Vissim, Aimsun Next, traffic controllers, communication interfaces OCIT-C/OCIT-O, Canto, Befa. These skills are mandatory skills to offer third level support together with the development team
- You have worked on agile projects (SCRUM) and have experience as Product Owner, and you have been in the software development department for at least 5 years.
- You are also self-motivated and can demonstrate initiative, assertiveness and a results-oriented approach.
- You speak German and English, because a large share of our customer base is located in the DACH region and one of the core development teams is based in Germany.
