Process Worker - Electrical Assembly

Duties:

  • Work according to supervisor’s direction.
  • Assemble mechanical components on to gear tray and in cabinets.
  • Electrical wiring of components such as breakers, filters, transformers etc.
  • Be able to use tools such as crimp tools, multimeter.
  • Be able to use power tools such as drills, bench grinder, drop saw etc.
  • Test and visually inspect to work instructions and procedures.
  • Able to read Wiring Diagrams.
  • Recognise and quarantine non-conforming product.
  • Handle, store and pack product so as to avoid damage and deterioration.
  • Keep work area clean and tidy.
  • Observe safety rules.
  • Be flexible in performing a range of jobs as required.
  • Able to work in teams.
  • Assist in providing on the job training for all new staff.
  • Quality Assurance knowledge.
  • To conduct activities in a safe, quality and environmentally responsible manner in accordance with Aldridge Traffic Controllers quality, OH&S and environmental policies and procedures.

 

Authority:

  • To stop production as a result of non-conforming product being produced for reasons such as, faulty or out of calibration equipment, or faulty supplied components.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Some experience in electrical wiring and assembly of mechanical and electrical components. Be able to use power tools.
