The business is currently seeking a new team member to join the ITS and TCS project delivery team in this role you will work within the projects team and have joint responsibility for delivering projects and ensuring they are delivered as per the agreed scope. You will apply existing knowledge, combined with company policy to ensure successful project completion.

Reporting into the projects supervisor, the role will have responsibility for ensuring the successful delivery of contractor works during projects, which will include completing pre works site inspections.

 

Areas of responsibility and tasks

  • Investigation of project activities and ensuring all works required projects works are able to be carried out.

  • Oversee specialist sub-contractors

  • Undertake appropriate training with the addition of new equipment and systems as and when necessary, via formal and informal training, including on the job training.

  • Supervise the delivery of a wide range of projects in accordance with current national/local standards, guidance, specifications and best practice. 

  • Ensure the required documentation is up to standard and record-keeping systems are up to date and communicated with the team.  

  • Any other duties reasonably requested within the skills required for the role.

  • Identifying trends and recommending improvement strategies, innovations.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

It is desirable to have relevant experience in, or an understanding of some/all the following competencies,

  • Communication skills

  • Delivery of ITS/TCS Projects

  • Traffic signal fundamentals and TfNSW SPECIFICATION D&C TS101

  • Transport for New South Wales (RMS) ITS standards/specifications

  • Construction White card 

  • Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Projects

  • First aid / CPR

  • Must hold full Driving License

  • Basic Traffic Control
