SAP ERP Architect (m/f)

We are looking for an experienced SAP ERP Architect to join our international team and take on a key role in defining and developing our ERP strategy.

Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:

• Oversee the architecture of three productive SAP ERP system lines
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP ERP and SAP S/4 HANA with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.
• Drive the strategic transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, working closely with business stakeholders to ensure a smooth and value-driven migration leveraging best in class tools and processes.
• Ensure the integration, scalability, and performance of SAP systems across business units, while driving innovation and digital transformation.
• Support the configuration and customization of SAP modules
• Define and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
• Analyse existing SAP landscapes and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Analyse business demands and tailor suitable solutions. Act as a trusted advisor on SAP capabilities and roadmap planning.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Mentor internal and external SAP experts.
• Work with multiple external IT service providers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

Your qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 12 years of hands-on experience in SAP ERP environments including at least 3 years in an architecture- or technical lead role.
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC in preferred modules like FI, CO, MM, SD, CS, PS, BC.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations as well as SAP system ownership is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and application architecture to ensure alignment between business goals and IT strategies effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills (e.g., German) are advantageous.
