We are looking for an experienced C++ Lead Software Engineer to join our Yunex Traffic R&D product development team in Poole.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Solid experience designing and implementing embedded software systems and/or embedded software
  • You will enjoy opportunities to work on both new and existing projects and be challenged to make a difference through your enthusiasm and self-motivation; bringing ideas to the team, facilitating change and helping direct the future of Yunex Traffic
  • A growth mindset.  Someone who is always keen to learn new skills.
  • Someone who has strong oral and written communication skills. The ability to design complex systems in a way that also allows our teams to implement them.
  • Experience with new development and extending existing product code base.
  • You will be able to review, analyse the technical detail of our roadmaps and help design appropriate solutions as part of a team.
  • Experience of working within Agile teams and working practices.
  • You will be educated to degree level or be able to demonstrate an equivalent skill set.

 

Tech Skills Required:

  • C, C++
  • Ability to work with complex multithreaded applications.
  • Gitlab
  • CI/CD Practices
  • DevOps Practices
  • Experience developing using Microsoft development tools
  • Experience developing applications in OpenVMS would be advantageous.
  • Experience of AWS would be advantageous.
