As a Manufacturing Engineer at Yunex Traffic, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming innovative designs into high-quality products. Your expertise in mechanical product assembly will drive the seamless transition from concept to production, ensuring efficiency and excellence at every stage. You’ll spearhead the adoption of advanced manufacturing techniques and tooling, revolutionizing processes to deliver cost-effective, reliable solutions. Working within a collaborative and dynamic team, you’ll champion quality, problem-solving, and continuous improvement to keep us at the forefront of the industry.

Responsibilities
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by helping develop manufacturing methods and assisting design and production teams during rollout.
- Use structured problem‑solving tools to identify and resolve production issues.
- Contribute to process and cost‑improvement initiatives, including introducing new tools or techniques.
- Provide guidance and basic training to operators on production processes and best practices.
- Work closely with engineering, production, quality, and other functions to ensure effective communication and alignment.
- Build strong working relationships across internal teams and with external stakeholders when required.
- Support health & safety improvements by identifying risks and contributing to solutions.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Use engineering tools to help introduce improved manufacturing techniques or technologies.
- Assist in analysing and improving production layouts, workflows, and equipment positioning.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is serviced and available for production.
- Provide input to design teams on manufacturability to simplify processes and reduce cost.
Qualifications & Experience
- HNC or Degree in an Engineering discipline (Electronics desirable but not essential).
- 2–6 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role.
- Understanding of modern manufacturing practices and processes.
- Basic knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in electronics or system assembly (desirable).
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or SolidEdge.
