Our world-class manufacturing site in Poole is dedicated to staying at the forefront of digital transformation. As the Manufacturing Digitalisation Manager, you will be supported in your role and have the opportunity to lead a talented team of six digitalisation and IT specialists. As a team you play a pivotal role in driving innovation and excellence across our operations.

Here is what you can expect from this role:

• Be a coach for the team ensuring that they develop in their technical field and prepare them with a strong foundation for future career growth.
• Stay current with the latest technology in the industry from ERP through to robotics and artificial intelligence.
• Work with the wider manufacturing team to identify and pipeline key improvement projects
• Apply your innovative and entrepreneurial mindset to challenge the current state and identify areas for improvement
• Have a pragmatic approach to new technology and develop a real understanding of what bottom line value opportunities can bring.

The location of this role will be Poole, Dorset, UK.

The candidate:

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following characteristics:

Candidates should ideally have:

• Familiarity with core manufacturing systems such as ERP (SAP) and/or MES.
• Lean and/or experience of implementing process improvement in a technology environment.
• Data analytics understanding and experience.
• Experience with a production environment, preferably electronics or similar discrete products.
• A degree in an engineering or technology field.
