The challenge

Part of being a #TrafficTransformer graduate at Yunex Traffic means you’ll take part in our fantastic graduate development programme, gaining practical experience working on real projects in a leading, global intelligent traffic systems company. You’ll bring fresh perspective to what we do, helping us to achieve our goals. We will create an individual training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of it, you will be set up with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to equip you for your professional career in Yunex Traffic.

 

Here is a taste of what you can expect from this internship:

  • Embark on three 12-month placements in our different Finance departments, while working towards a professional qualification and a Level 7 Apprenticeship in Finance and Accounting. Together, we’ll build an individual training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge. By the end of the scheme you will be ready for your professional career in Yunex.
  • Placements include our include Controlling, Service, Projects and Procurement team, everything you need to know to run a business in the future.
  • Work towards a CIMA qualification alongside your work placements
  • Take part in the Yunex Graduate Development Programme alongside graduates from our other programmes to develop soft skills like team working, digital skills, project management and communication

 

The location of this apprenticeship role will be: Poole, Dorset.

 

The candidate

We are looking for forward-thinking, inquisitive candidates who demonstrate the following characteristics:

  • Acquired your degree or be on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in any degree, but you must have a keen interest in finance.
  • You are up for travelling as part of this rotational position. The majority of our placements are based in Poole at our head office but we have locations across the UK that can facilitate a wider understanding of Yunex.
  • Experience of working within a finance related department would be advantageous but not essential.
  • You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a forward-thinking approach to problem solving
  • You can work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking advance your ability to drive and lead change
  • You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions

Recruitment process

Applications for our Graduate roles will close on 17th January 2025.

 

For this role, there is likely to be an initial video interview via Microsoft Teams, where you will get to chat with the hiring team, and can find out more about Yuenx Traffic, and we can learn more about you. If you are successful at this stage, you wll be invited to an in-person interview at our site in Poole. These interviews are typically competency based and a chance for us to find out what your motivations are for your next career.

 

Some roles may also choose to complete assessment centres, in which further information will be provided to the candidates if they are invited to attend.

 

Our Graduates will join the business in July 2025, so you must be available from this date.

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to sponsor anyone joining us on our Graduate Development Programme who doesn’t have valid right to work in the UK.
