The Role:
As an Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll join our dynamic, field-based team. Your role will focus on the commissioning, maintenance, and support working on domestic, fast, rapid, and ultra-rapid EV chargers. If you enjoy hands-on work, thrive in the field, and are dedicated to delivering top-quality results, we want to hear from you!
Location:
We’re hiring Engineers Nationwide but the role is regional and you will cover contracts within your region.
What You’ll Do:
- Service, upgrade, and troubleshoot AC and DC EV chargers.
- Conduct electrical testing and periodic inspections.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, to a high standard, and on schedule.
- Communicate effectively with contractors and customers, both on-site and digitally.
- Analyze and process data to optimize contract performance.
- Handle emergency repairs and support out-of-hours work by being part of a standby call out rota.
- Complete product training and achieve National Highways Sector Scheme accreditation. This will include oversea’s travel
- Maintain a strong focus on safety at all times.
- Support other areas when required (this may involve staying away overnight)
What We’re Looking For:
- A Level 3 Electrical qualification (e.g., EAL, City & Guilds).
- Experience working with low and medium voltage systems.
- Ideally, an ECS Gold Card and City & Guilds 2391- qualification or equivalent
- 18th edition BS7671 qualification
- Experience with AC and DC EV chargers or similar products
- A proactive problem-solver who is eager to learn and thrives in a team environment.
- Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors.
- A full driving license and proximity to one of our depots.
