Your responsibilities:

In your new role, you will be part of our central treasury operations team located either in our headquarter Munich or in Erlangen. You will be responsible for various operational treasury activities in the areas of systems (e.g. treasury management system), cash & liquidity management, governance, and reporting. Furthermore, you drive new and ongoing treasury projects with the goal to further improve the current system landscape and optimize existing processes and structures.

• Act as the interface between treasury, operational business, and our IT department to ensure the availability and smooth operation of the Treasury Management System and complementary IT applications.
• Propose and drive tactical and strategic improvements in Treasury Operations and lead special projects involving treasury best practices and/or technology solutions for the entire organization.
• Conduct analysis of treasury data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Consult ongoing ERP migrations on treasury related topics and drive testing cycles for the integration of new ERPs within the existing treasury infrastructure landscape.
• Drive implementation and roll-out of (global) treasury projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and guidelines.
• Prepare complex central treasury reports and/or presentations for the management in cooperation with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure smooth operation of the daily business by taking on ownership for related topics and actions.

Depending on your background and interest you will have the possibility to learn from and support other treasury functions, such as FX risk management, corporate funding, and trade finance.

Qualifications & Experience

• You have a degree in business administration, finance, accounting, IT or a related field, ideally supplemented by additional finance-related qualifications.
• You have 1-4 years of professional experience in treasury operations in an international company, ideally with a focus on treasury IT.
• You have a good understanding of how IT infrastructures and IT solutions support daily treasury operations. Ideally, you also have experience with FIS Integrity.
• Your organizational skills enable you to always keep an eye on the big picture and achieve the expected results accurately and efficiently.
• You are a strong team player with a service-oriented mindset and can quickly adapt to different situations and people.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Excellent oral and written skills in English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
• A high level of initiative, as well as the ability to learn and take on new challenges, complete your profile.
