IT Systems Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

• Be part of a dynamic international IT team of 40 colleagues across four countries, supporting operations in 25 countries.
• Administer and continuously improve our global Active Directory and EntraID environments.
• Drive the implementation and rollout of new Microsoft 365 services and features.
• Operate and manage Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Defender, Intune, SharePoint, Teams) in line with existing designs and operational handbooks.
• Ensure security and compliance across all Microsoft 365 applications and data.
• Support Azure environment management with a focus on FinOps and cost optimization.
• Maintain and enhance our Windows Server infrastructure, both on-premises and cloud-based.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for business users and technical partners.
• Collaborate with external IT partners and ensure the technical operation of service delivery aligns with contractual Statements of Work (SoWs).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., Fachinformatiker:in für Systemintegration, IT-Systemelektroniker:in) or a university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration.
• Strong expertise in Active Directory, EntraID, Exchange, and Microsoft 365.
• Solid understanding of cloud technologies (especially Azure) and IT security best practices.
• Experience with FinOps and cost control strategies in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and DevOps tools; programming experience is a plus.
• Proactive mindset with a high sense of ownership and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in both German and English.
