About the Role

Yunex Traffic is strengthening its global Master Data Management function to establish a scalable, well-governed data foundation supporting operations, ERP transformation, and digitalization.

As MDM Manager, you will build and lead the global MDM function, establishing clear governance, data ownership, and standardized processes across all key master data domains (material, customer, supplier).

You will play a central role in shaping data-driven operations at the intersection of business and IT, with high visibility and direct impact on enterprise transformation.

Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

• Lead the global MDM transformation, establishing a process-driven, system-enabled and business-owned MDM organization
• Define and implement the MDM target operating model, including global scope, governance structure, roles, decision rights, and service levels
• Establish and enforce a global MDM governance framework, covering data ownership, standards, policies, and process compliance across all domains
• Own and drive the Master Data Management Committee, ensuring effective decision-making, prioritization, and resolution of cross-functional topics
• Design and harmonize end-to-end MDM processes for material and business partner data, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and global consistency
• Drive data quality and performance transparency, leveraging KPIs, monitoring, and continuous improvement measures
• Act as business owner for MDM systems and tools, including the evolution towards a scalable MDM platform and hub architecture
• Lead business-side requirements for MDM-related digital solutions, ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and integration with ERP systems
• Establish and lead a global data stewardship model, ensuring clear accountability within business functions
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, Sales, PLM, IT, and other functions to embed MDM as a core business capability

Your qualifications – solid and appropriate

• Degree in Business, Information Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field
• Strong experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, ERP process management, or business transformation
• Proven leadership experience in building teams, driving transformation, or leading cross-functional governance in a matrix organization
• Deep understanding of MDM governance, data ownership models, data quality management, and process standardization
• Strong knowledge of ERP-based master data processes, ideally in SAP environments
• Experience with MDM tools, data governance platforms, or data quality solutions
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, system-enabled processes
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, challenge, and drive alignment across functions and regions
• Analytical and implementation-oriented mindset with a strong focus on execution and measurable outcomes
• Excellent communication skills in English and German; additional languages are a plus
