Head of IT Strategy & Governance. This role within the Yunex global Enterprise IT function combines strategic IT governance and leadership responsibilities with global IT account management. It acts as a senior interface between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring alignment of IT strategy, portfolio, processes, governance, and service delivery with corporate objectives. Responsibilities include leading a cross-functional team, managing the global IT demand, projects, IT delivery processes, financials, licenses, vendor relations, compliance, and communication across international environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team of seven IT professionals.
• Act as the primary IT point of contact for global and regional business stakeholders, including headquarters. Manage stakeholder expectations across multiple international projects, initiatives and services. Collect strategic business needs and provide structured feedback to IT leadership- and domain owners.
• Develop, execute, and continuously evolve the IT strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Continuously maintain and improve IT process- and governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, ISO, ITGC, ICOFR, P2P SoD, etc.), policies, and procedures.
• Represent and actively manage the global IT service-, project- and application portfolio, including demand intake and prioritization. Frequently enhance the IT service catalogue to achieve best possible end user satisfaction.
• Manage IT financial topics including budgeting, forecasting, cost charge out and holistic cost transparency.
• Oversee IT provider management, building long-term strategic partnerships in consideration of the defined IT sourcing strategy and operationally measure adequate performance of service delivery.
• Ensure effective IT license management, compliance, and risk control.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in IT account- and demand management, stakeholder management, or IT leadership roles.
• Proven experience in the areas of IT service catalogues, enterprise architecture, IT finance & licensing, sourcing, and project management.
• Strong understanding of global IT operating models and service delivery structures.
• Experience working in international, cross-cultural environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging all organizational levels.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are considered a strong advantage.
• Winning, results‑driven leader with a strong hands‑on operational mindset and a clear “lead by example” philosophy.
