Leads the global, strategic Procurement organization, defines and implements Procurement strategy, standards and guidelines for Yunex Traffic globally.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Heads the global Procurement organization and leads all related management and staff. This includes the global as well as the regional Procurement teams, including the Global Commodity Management team for Direct and Indirect as well as the Methods, Process and Digitalization team
- Defines the procurement strategy for Yunex Traffic globally in close alignment with the business and all functional stakeholders – considering ToCo, availability, quality, technology & innovation as well as sustainability aspects
- Acts as a role model and proactively leads transformation of organization and workforce, especially with regards to digitalization, automation, value chain orchestration, diversity, process improvements, required skill set of staff etc
- Defines and ensures implementation of Procurement standards, regulations and guidelines globally – including all strategic procurement, sourcing and operational purchasing activities
- Manages and contributes to overarching Yunex Traffic programs and initiatives, such as Sustainability
- Responsible for the global purchasing volume, cost of the Procurement organization and related other KPIs; delivers targeted results
- Acts as personal advisor to Yunex Traffic’s Executives and Senior Management in all Procurement-related issues
Qualifications & Experience:
- You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a comparable field – ideally complemented by an MBA or relevant certifications in procurement and supplier management
- 10y+ in strategic procurement leadership roles (direct and indirect) with strong international expertise
- Result driven, strategic and analytical thinker
- Deep understanding of product, service and project (EPC) business, incl. manufacturing
- Entrepreneurial and continuous-improvement mindset
- Proven track record driving and implementing change
- Excellent communication, influencing and coaching skills
- Excellent knowledge in contract and supplier lifecycle management
- Strong English and German communication skills required
