Business Development Manager

 

This role will working for our Enforcemnt arm of the business. The main purpose of a Business Development Manager is to hunt for and to secure new business opportunities in their allocated region. The Business Development Manager will attend industry events to network and to identify new business opportunities. They will follow up on any incoming sales enquiries in their region and provide potential clients with presentations, proposals and quotations in a timely manner to ensure all incoming opportunities are maximized. The regional sales manager will lead on any new tenders that come in via the portals for clients in their area, ensuring that the bid process is followed to ensure success. Additionally, the regional sales manager will help retain existing business by maintaining good relationships with clients in their region and keeping them up to date with any new Yunex Traffic products. The regional sales manager is responsible for recording and updating all sales opportunities in our CRM system to ensure sales forecasting is maintained accurately.

 

Business Development Manager Job Duties:

  • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships.
  • Screens potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
  • Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
  • Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs.
  • Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients.
  • Creating presentations to highlight all the key features and benefits of company products.
  • Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Enhances organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them.
  • Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning.
  • Collaborating with design and development teams to feed into the roadmap and ensure that technical requirements are met.
  • Building and maintaining effective internal relationships with colleagues to ensure a one team approach,
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Attending internal meetings, updates and reporting on new sales opportunities.
  • Engagement with marketing on client testimonials, shows and ensuring sales materials are up to date and effective.
  • Attending new client meetings in person or via teams (If meeting is on Teams, ensure camera is always switched on).
  • Writing up meeting details to share with business on weekly call and adding meeting notes onto the CRM.
  • Always keeping the sales pipeline tracker up to date.
  • Act as sales lead in tenders (Giving pre-market engagement information and competitor information to the Bid Manager and working on story boarding plus writing quality submission responses with the support of bid team as per the bid process).
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Develop, maintain and execute a territory sales strategy.
  • Manage processes.

 

Business Development Manager Qualifications/Skills:

  • Possess a new business “hunter” mentality.
  • Experience within the ITS Enforcement industry.
  • Motivation for sales.
  • Professional and positive attitude
