Business Development Manager
Flexible Hybrid working with a base of either Poole or Leicester
As part of the successful UK Enforcement business segment within Yunex, we are looking for Business Development Manager to lead our expansion in the UK across the enforcement portfolio (Low Emission Zones, Civil Moving Traffic Offences, Speed Enforcement etc). This role will be focused on identifying and securing new business opportunities beyond our existing contracts.
The Enforcement Solutions and Road Safety market continues to show strong potential which Yunex Traffic are keen to maximize using our latest generation of product and service offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver effective sales strategies that align with the vision and financial objectives of the Enforcement business
- Build a sales pipeline that reflects the business’ growth projections
- Influence key strategic customers, partners, and industry stakeholders building strong relationships at a senior level
- Contribute to shaping a competitive product portfolio through in-depth understanding of market opportunities and customer requirements
- Proactive engagement with all supporting functions including operations, product management, engineering, tendering and finance
- Accountable for managing leads through to order, including an active role in the bid preparation phase
- Report sales performance and forecasts monthly to senior management
- Maximise the benefit of the CRM tool, promoting active use and fully maintained customer records
- Create and maintain sales material to highlight all the key solution features and customer benefits
- Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners whilst staying up to date with new trends
Qualifications & Experience:
- Track record in achieving sales targets in a growth business within the UK
- Possess a new business “hunter” mentality
- Previous experience within the Enforcement, ANPR or related industry preferred
- Combine persuasiveness and adaptability with technical, financial, and commercial acumen
- Ability and resilience for working under pressure
- Demonstrate proactive, confident communication and networking skills
- Exhibit excellent written and oral communication, organization, and planning skills
- Experience of working effectively with and presenting to Senior Management
- Hold a full UK Driving License
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field preferred
