We’re looking for a friendly and motivated Finance Officer to join our fantastic team in our Kidderminster office.
In this varied role, you’ll take ownership of the commercial order-to-cash process for up to £5m of chargeable work, while also supporting the management of traffic signal maintenance contracts across the South East region.
This position combines finance and administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys an admin role with a strong focus on finance. You’ll be joining a fantastic and supportive network of Finance Officers across the UK, where teamwork and collaboration are highly valued.

This role will offer hybrid working between home and the office, with a flexi working policy once the training period is complete.

Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting entries within the SAP system, supporting the full process from setting up new orders through to invoicing.
- Carry out monthly / quarterly maintenance applications / invoicing
- Preparation of monthly sales forecasts, working closely with the Operations Manager to carry out the monthly documented Orders in Hand review and produce a three-month rolling sales forecast.
- Manage monthly sales and orders, including reviewing sales, orders and margins against forecasts and investigating any differences.
- Monitor the performance of all chargeable and maintenance work against margin targets, and work closely with the Operations Management Team to understand and address any cost overspends.
- Main point of contact for customers regarding billing queries and account matters within your area.
- Financial Controls – Management of aged entries on Company balance sheet (Accruals, Prepayments, UBCS)
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5 GCSE’s grade C or above to include Mathematics.
- A positive attitude with an eagerness to learn
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle requests and queries professionally by email, phone, teams and face to face.
- Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and achieve deadlines
- Good level of understanding of Microsoft office – Outlook, Teams, Excel
- Driving license in preferred
