Responsibilities:
- Supports the Project Manager on tasks assigned for project execution and management.
- Evaluates different system design concepts with respect to technological and commercial aspects.
- Defines the products, components and subsystems to be used and their respective characteristics.
- Specifies and integrates standard products, components and subsystems according to the required functionality of the system and coordinates their interfaces and interaction.
- Responsible for the realization of the system with the required functionality.
- Drives and guides the creation of functional architecture for a complete system and of a technical realization concept over all its domain and technical aspects.
- Verifies and validates the concepts and specifications versus the requirements and standards.
- Prepare any design and system related documentation for internal and external use.
- Liaise, communicate and coordinate with different parties including sub-contractors for on-site progress and ensure workmanship is in accordance to contract standards.
- Acts internally as an integrating and coordinating technical function.
- Liaise, communicate and coordinate with clients, suppliers, sub-contractors and technical staff to facilitate on-time project delivery.
- Handle other ad-hoc projects/ tasks as assigned.
Requirement:
Individuals who meet the following requirements or possess the equivalent combination of competence and experience are invited to apply:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering Discipline or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.
- Minimum 5-8 years' experience in the Electrical Engineering Industry
- Knowledge in design, prototyping, development, configurations, testing and other implementation activities.
- Familiar with the use of System Analysis software and Microsoft Project
- Member of HKIE
- Government project experience is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Immediate availability is preferred
