ITS Project Manager
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager for our Projects and Bids division in Hong Kong who have managed and successfully delivered intelligent transport systems projects. The ITS Project Manager will have overall responsibility in project delivery, driving technical excellence and innovation, exercising control and managing risks for the successful completion of projects and customer satisfaction.
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Lead a project team towards the successful execution of the assigned projects / bids.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, effectively influencing and fostering positive customer relationships.
- Oversee project management tasks, such as scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, change management, opportunity analysis, forecasting and providing regular reports to different stakeholders.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive contract execution strategy, covering risk management, opportunity identification, and claim management. Also, responsible for contractual change management and identifying opportunities for additional sales.
- Contribute technical excellence and know-how towards the Hong Kong, regional and global best practices for projects / bids, including the methodology, engineering and system design.
- Serve as the cohesive force in the project, maintaining team motivation and driving optimal performance.
- Identify local training on technical know-how and upskilling of project team members.
- Assume profit/loss responsibility for designated projects.
- Create and share project-specific lessons learned while minimizing or eliminating non-conformance costs.
- Collaborate with the wider local, regional and global Yunex teams.
- Be willing to travel as necessary.
- Ensure alignment of and adherence to practices and activities with local legislation and global guidelines and processes, including Yunex guidelines and processes.
- Maintain full compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Assist the Managing Director in defining the overall business strategy and objectives, including market and competitor analyses.
The successful candidate shall demonstrate the following experience & skills:
- More than 10 years of project management experience in road infrastructure construction that involved intelligent transport / traffic control systems in Hong Kong and overseas.
- A current member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (MHKIE) in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science.
- Be a team leader and team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to foster a positive work environment.
- Able to effectively develop key working relationships with customers and partners.
- Be self-dependent with a high level of initiative, impact and result-orientation.
- Possess excellent written, verbal and communication skills in English.
- Process excellent verbal and communication skills in Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Proficient in general Microsoft applications e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams & Projects.
Additional Information
The following skills are desirable and will be considered for a senior position:
- University Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
- Prior experience in the field of traffic signal controllers developed by Siemens / Yunex and well-equipped with knowledge on SCATS and/or SCOOT traffic control systems.
