At Yunex Traffic, we're helping create safer, smarter and more sustainable journeys through intelligent transport solutions used by millions of people every day. From traffic signals and tunnel management systems to digital mobility technologies, we're shaping the future of transport across the globe.

We’re looking for the next generation of Emerging Talent to bring fresh ideas, challenge thinking and help shape the future of mobility.

As a Graduate, you'll gain real experience, meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to projects that make a genuine impact.

Life as Emerging Talent

Joining Yunex means becoming part of a nationwide Emerging Talent community, connecting apprentices, degree apprentices, interns and graduates from across the business.

Alongside your day-to-day role, you'll have opportunities to:

  • Build relationships with colleagues across the business
  • Learn from experienced professionals and senior leaders
  • Develop key professional and leadership skills
  • Collaborate on business-wide impact projects
  • Take part in volunteering and community initiatives
  • Grow your network through events and development activities

Through these experiences, you'll build the skills, confidence and connections needed to support your long-term career development.

Green Light Programme

To support your transition from education into industry, you'll take part in our Green Light Programme, a year-long development journey designed to strengthen your professional, business and leadership skills while helping you build your network across Yunex Traffic.

What you’ll be doing:

From day one, you'll become part of the team, contributing to live projects and developing practical skills through real responsibility.

  • Gain hands-on experience across a range of Services functions, building an understanding of how Yunex Traffic delivers and supports critical traffic technology solutions.
  • Develop technical knowledge through practical experience in Field Services, including exposure to installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis, commissioning and operational support activities.
  • Complete placements across different areas of the Services organisation, such as Technical Support, Consultancy Services, Training, Logistics and Supply Chain, gaining insight into how each function contributes to successful service delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders, developing your understanding of contract management, operational performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Support service improvement initiatives, using data, feedback and analysis to identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, quality and customer outcomes.
  • Contribute to projects with real business impact, helping to deliver operational, commercial and service improvements across the organisation.
  • Develop leadership, communication and project management skills through structured training, mentoring and practical experience.
  • Take ownership of your personal development, building the technical, commercial and operational capabilities needed to progress into a permanent role within the Services team at the end of the programme.

Qualifications & Experience:

You don’t need to know exactly where you want your career to take you yet. We’re looking for curious graduates who bring ideas, enjoy solving problems and are willing to try new challenges. You’ll also:

  • Be on track to achieve, or have recently achieved, a 2:1 degree or above in a STEM, Business or other relevant analytical discipline.
  • Have strong problem-solving skills and enjoy working with technical, operational or business challenges.
  • Be interested in technology, infrastructure, engineering or service operations and how they impact people and communities.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills through academic, work, sporting, volunteering or extracurricular experience.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence by the start of the programme, or be willing and able to travel to customer, office and operational sites as required.

What you’ll get:

  • Salary of £30,500
  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • Structured pathway into a permanent role at the end of the 2-year programme
  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Flexible benefits package, to suit your needs
  • Pension scheme
  • Hybrid working – minimum 3 days on site (37.5 hour working week)
  • Employee assistance programme
  • Learning and development opportunities
  • Career development support and progression opportunities
