Maintenance Engineer

EV charging /CCTV (ANPR)

 

This role is predominantly a site-based role, our sites cover central and Greater London region with the occasional visit to our depots to collect equipment. In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance of ANPR cameras and EV charging stations in and around the region. Experience working on EV charging or ANPR or CCTV cameras would be an advantage but not essential full training will be provided

 

As a field based Engineer, a company vehicle will be provided, therefore a full driving licence is essential.

 

What are your responsibilities

 

  • Maintenance of ANPR camera in line with the manufacturer’s standards, design drawings, technical specification, and customer requirements.
  • Attend, repair and resolve faults to the highest of standards and in the safest possible manner.
  • Be able to communicate daily via phone and email to both internal stakeholders and directly with Customers.
  • Manage your own workload to ensure contractual KPI are achieved and that all elements of the Service Level Agreement are met.
  • Update and manage the Yunex fault management system via electronic means including phone, tablet and laptop.
  • Management and completion of periodic inspection on the install base in-line with the agreed schedule
  • Full and accurate completion of electronic paperwork created in relation to faults and inspections.
  • Complete electrical tests, periodic inspections with electrical testing and pre-commissioning activities
  • Work as part of a dynamic and adaptable team as well as a self-motivated individual

 

The Maintenance Engineer (You)

 

  • You enjoy learning new activities, picking up new jobs confidently and working on site
  • You have an electrical qualification or experience in installation, maintenance and/or testing of equipment.
  • You’re helpful and willing to use your own initiative.
  • You enjoy working outside and are comfortable working safely and a at height.
  • You have good attention to detail and enjoy troubleshooting’.
  • You enjoy working towards the team’s goals, and work well with other people.
  • Willingness to work unsociable hours on a fair rota basis to ensure work can be completed.
  • You need a full driving licence.

 

Preferred, but not essential:

  • Experience of working on ANPR cameras or EV Charging or traffic signal equipment
