Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Undertake planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance on traffic signal equipment and highways infrastructure.
• Install traffic signal assets and ancillary equipment independently or as part of a team.
• Liaise with customers and contractors on-site to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist engineers with electrical testing and pre-commissioning activities.
• Conduct periodic inspections and corrective maintenance, including electrical testing.
• Accurately collect and process performance data for analysis.
• Complete mandatory NHSS training and undertake further training as required.
• Work out of hours to support service and installation contracts.
• Ensure all work complies with Health and Safety procedures and site specifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Electrical qualification or relevant experience in installation, maintenance, and/or testing.
• Comfortable working outdoors and at height.
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
• Good team player with initiative and a proactive attitude.
• Willingness to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Full UK driving licence required.
