Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Management: Develop detailed maintenance project plans and coordinate and manage all phases of tunnel maintenance projects, including inspections, repairs, rehabilitation, and upgrades.
2. Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead teams of engineers, maintenance technicians and contractors and coordinate with them all to ensure smooth execution of maintenance tasks with minimal disruption to tunnel services.
3. Technical Oversight: Provide technical expertise for maintenance activities, ensuring all repairs meet best practices and engineering standards, and conduct technical assessments of tunnel systems to identify equipment requiring upgrade or rehabilitation.
4. Risk Management and Safety Compliance: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies while ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
5. Quality Control and Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure the durability and reliability of completed repairs and upgrades.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and prepare reports on maintenance activities, tunnel conditions and any issues encountered during the project.

Qualifications:

1. Education: A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. Relevant certifications in project management and tunneling are highly desirable.
2. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on tunnel equipment maintenance.
3. Technical Skills: Strong understanding in tunnel technologies and systems.
4. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of tunnel maintenance needs and repair techniques.

Additional Skills:

• Leadership: Strong leadership skills to motivate, manage, and mentor teams, ensuring productivity and high-quality results.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve complex technical and logistical problems that arise during tunnel maintenance.
• Contractor Management: Experience managing contractors, including vendor selection, contract negotiations and quality control of subcontracted work.
