Technical Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management: Develop detailed maintenance project plans and coordinate and manage all phases of tunnel maintenance projects, including inspections, repairs, rehabilitation, and upgrades.
- Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead teams of engineers, maintenance technicians and contractors and coordinate with them all to ensure smooth execution of maintenance tasks with minimal disruption to tunnel services.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical expertise for maintenance activities, ensuring all repairs meet best practices and engineering standards, and conduct technical assessments of tunnel systems to identify equipment requiring upgrade or rehabilitation.
- Risk Management and Safety Compliance: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies while ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure the durability and reliability of completed repairs and upgrades.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and prepare reports on maintenance activities, tunnel conditions and any issues encountered during the project.
Qualifications:
- Education: A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. Relevant certifications in project management and tunneling are highly desirable.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on tunnel equipment maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding in tunnel technologies and systems.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of tunnel maintenance needs and repair techniques.
Additional Skills:
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to motivate, manage, and mentor teams, ensuring productivity and high-quality results.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve complex technical and logistical problems that arise during tunnel maintenance.
- Contractor Management: Experience managing contractors, including vendor selection, contract negotiations and quality control of subcontracted work.
